A Definition of Skills and Magic
In The Mixed Medieval Arts we have three main ways of producing certain actions, or Effects, upon the people or situations around us. Those are Skills, Faith based Magic, and Mana based Magic.
Skills are Actions and techniques that the Character has learned, practiced and which produce an in game Effect. Skill uses are typically limited to how many times per day that particular Skill may be used/utilised.
Faith based Magic would be any Effect that originates from a Cleric, Nature or Warlock Prayer. All 3 of these are fueled by Faith, through a Prayer Cycle.
Mana based Magic would be any Effect that originates from any Spell, Psionic, Circle or Rune. All 4 of these are fueled by Mana through a Mana Pool, or through a Spell Cycle or Psionic Cycle.
Instant vs Lingering Skills or Magic
All Skills and Magic, regardless of it's source, are either
Instant
If you are the Casting Character of the Skill or Magic -
Instant Skills or Magic are when the results, or the Effects, of the Skill or Magic happens immediately, and DOES NOT leave any lasting Effects upon the casting Character.
An example of this would be FireBall, where after it is made and thrown, the Casting Character has no further beneficial or negative Effects.
If you are the Target Player of the Skill or Magic -
Instant Skills or Magic cast upon you will leave no lingering Effect, rather only an immediate result.
An example of this would be Healing Magic cast upon you where your Hit Points get a one time 'boost' but no further Effect.
Lingering
If you are the Casting Character of the Skill or Magic -
Lingering Skills or Magic are when the results, or the Effects, of the Skill or Magic happens over a period of time, and DOES leave lasting Effects upon the casting Character.
An example of this would be "Fly", where after it is cast, the Casting Character has a declared length of time to enjoy the Effects.
If you are the Target Player of the Skill or Magic -
Lingering Skills or Magic cast upon you will have a declared Time Call that will leave a lasting Effect.
An example of this would be Invisibility cast upon you, where you disappear from sight for a declared length of time.
At any one time, no Character may be under the BENEFICIAL Lingering Effects of more than ONE Mana based, ONE Prayer based and ONE Skill based source.
Durations
Each Skill will clearly state it's individual duration time. Durations means how long an active Skill may be used for,
if not canceled first.
Example~
A Character wants to use one of their daily uses of Hide in Shadows (this is the 'Cast'). It is a Level 2 Skill, and has a duration of 6 minutes (this is the Duration). They hunker down in a shady spot, with an closed fist held above their head and arm bent at 90 degrees (this is the Game Mechanic). Then, 3 minutes into the duration, they decide that they need to be seen, and so they drop the arm and hand signaling Hidden.
The Skill is now cancelled.
Despite the fact that the Skill could have lasted for 3 more minutes, it's use is now over, it's use is done, and another use of Hide in Shadows must be employed.
In short ~
The Skill determines the Game Mechanic, if that Game Mechanic then lingers, when the Game Mechanic is dropped/lowered, the Skill is instantly cancelled.
~Psionic Descriptions~
Astral Form
Focus Time- 4S, Psi-Slots -2
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
The Astral Character must have their arms above their head in a triangle to signal "Astral", or they may wear a veil which completely covers the entire face and neck.
An Astral Character may not physically affect anything in the physical plane nor can anything physical in the physical plane effect an Astral Character. Exceptions to this rule are walls, structures, doors etc. Because the Astral Character is still traversing the physical plane, they must oblige by physical barriers. Example - If a door is shut the Astral Character would not be able to open or pass through it, for it is a Physical and Astral barrier and they are Astral only and can not turn the handle.
Casting Spells, Prayers and Psionics from the Astral plane into the material plane is possible though. A Character in the Astral plane can use any Ability, Skill, Spell, Prayer, Rune, Circle or Psionics that has a thrown component to it, ie. thrown rice for Fear, an Ice Boulder, a Magic Net rope etc., from the Astral Plane and it is created and effects the Material Plane. Of course, thrown component magic also will work against the Astral Character as well.
Character must announce "Astral Form 1M".
Effect
Character can not be seen at all with the exception of Characters that can See the Astral.
Character can only be damaged with enchanted weapons, Psionics, Prayers or Magic.
Effects linger for 1 minute, though Effects may be extended by spending 2 Psionic Slots or 15 Mana for each extra minute.
Level 2
Character must announce "Astral Form 2M".
Effects linger for 2 minutes, though Effects may be extended by spending 2 Psionic Slots or 15 Mana for each extra minute.
Level 3
Character must announce "Astral Form 3M".
Effects linger for 3 minutes, though Effects may be extended by spending 2 Psionic Slots or 15 Mana for each extra minute.
Bio-Regeneration
Focus Time- 60S, Psi-Slots - Special, see below
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
Character must be sitting or immobile for the full Focus Time with both Hands to their Temples.
Effect
Character can now sacrifice 2 Psi-Slots to heal 1 Body Hit Point OR 1 Psi-Slot to fully heal any one Arm or Leg.
All effects are for the Character only, and may not be passed to a Target Player.
Character can choose to remain motionless and continue to Bio-Regenerate with each new minute allowing another chance to sacrifice more Psi-Slots for healing.
Level 2
Character can now sacrifice 2 Psi-Slots to heal 1 Body Hit Point OR 1 Psi-Slot to fully heal any pair of Limbs (both Arms or both Legs).
Level 3
Character can now sacrifice 1 Psi-Slot to heal 1 Body Hit Point OR 1 Psi-Slot to fully heal any pair of Limbs (both Arms or both Legs).
Blind
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must throw rice at a Target Player and hit them in the Body.
Character must announce "Blind 5S".
Effect
Target Player is blind and must close their eyes.
Effects last 10 seconds.
Level 2
Character must announce "Blind 10S".
Effects last 15 seconds.
Level 3
Character must announce "Blind 15S".
Effects last 20 seconds.
Calm
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must touch a Target Player or NPC/Monster in Rage or Berserk and announce "Calm".
Effect
Cancels all Skill, Spell, Psionic, Circle, Rune and Prayer versions of Rage.
Level 2
Character may now have eye contact and throw rice at a Target Player in Rage or Berserk and announce "Calm" to negate any variation of Rage.
Level 3
Character may now throw rice and hit multiple Targets in Rage or Berserk in the Body and announce "Calm" to negate any variation of Rage.
Clairvoyance
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
Character must approach Game Master and announce that they have cast "Clairvoyance 2".
Effect
Character may now ask two questions of the Game Master on what the immediate future may hold.
Game Master must answer the questions, but Character should ask very specific inquiries and choose their words well.
Effects last for 3 minutes then the GM is compelled to tell no more.
Level 2
Character may now ask three questions.
Character must announce "Clairvoyance 3".
Effecvts last for 3 minutes.
Level 3
Character may now ask four questions.
Character must announce "Clairvoyance 4".
Effecvts last for 3 minutes.
Commune with the Dead
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
Character must touch the forehead of a Dead Target Player.
Character must announce "Commune with the Dead 10S".
Effect
Character can use this Psionic Ability upon a dead Target Player to have the dead tell the Character what happened to them, and the Dead will answer all Character asked questions truthfully (Dead men tell no lies) for 10 seconds.
Level 2
Character must announce "Commune with the Dead 20S".
The Dead Target Player will now answer all Character asked questions truthfully.
Effects last for 20 seconds.
Level 3
Character must announce "Commune with the Dead 30S".
The Dead Target Player will now answer all Character asked questions truthfully.
Effects last for 30 seconds.
Confusion
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must throw rice at a Target Player and hit them in the Body.
Must announce "Confusion 5S".
Effect
Target Player is now confused and forgets what they are doing and cannot use Spells, Prayers, Psionics, Runes, Skills anything for 5 seconds.
Level 2
Character must announce "Confusion 10S".
Effects lasts for 10 seconds.
Level 3
Character must announce "Confusion 15S".
Effects lasts for 15 seconds.
Cute
Focus Time- Special, see below, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Instant
Special Focus Time~ Cute may only happen immediately AFTER the Character receives 1 Hit Point of damage from a Target Player, and then only if the Character wishes to spend the Psi-Slots.
Action
Character must receive at least 1 Hit Point of damage from a Target Player.
Character must raise their forearms to their chest and relax the wrists so that the hands dangle in front loosely.
Character must announce "Cute 30S ".
Effect
The Target Player will now believe that the Character is "just too adorable and precious" to injure any further and will not only cease their hostile activities against the Character, but will actively defend them for the next 30 seconds.
Effects last 30 seconds.
Level 2
Character must announce "Cute 1M".
Effects lasts for 1 minute.
Level 3
Character must announce "Cute 2M".
Effects lasts for 2 minutes.
Deaden Pain
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
Character must announce "Deaden Pain 1M".
Effect
Character is immune to all Skill, Spell, Psionic, Circle and Prayer versions of Pain.
Character can also negate every second single Hit Point damage source. An example~ Take 1 HP damage, then negate the next 1 HP damage, then take the next, then negate the next, and so on. Any source that deals more than 1 single Hit Point of damage may not be negated.
Effects last for 1 minute.
Level 2
Character must announce "Deaden Pain 2M".
Effects last for 2 minutes.
Level 3
Character must announce "Deaden Pain 3M".
Effects last for 3 minutes.
Deaf
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must make eye contact and dramatically clap their hands at a Target Player.
Character must announce "Deaf 5S".
Effect
Target Player is instantly Deaf and very disorientated. Target Players must try to cover their own ears protectively and may perform no other action than defending themselves, and can not speak for the entire Duration.
Effects last 5 seconds.
Level 2
Character must announce "Deaf 10S".
Effects last 10 seconds.
Level 3
Character must announce "Deaf 15S".
Effects last 15 seconds.
Electrokinesis
Focus Time- 6S, Psi-Slots -3
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must have tennis balls wrapped in Silver.
Effect
Character may now throw the ball at a Target Player, announcing "Shock Ball".
Shock ball does 3 Points of damage.
Character can create 1 Shock Ball per Prayer.
Level 2
Choose the Level 1 effects or
Character can now hold the Shock Ball for 10 seconds only, in their hand to hit a Target Player as if their Fist was made of Lightning. This allows 1 attempt at physically striking out and hitting a Target Player with the 'Shock Fist'. If a good hit is made, the Target Player receives 3 HP of damage wherever they were struck, and the Shock ball is now no more.
Level 3
Choose the Level 1 or 2 effects or
Character may now throw a Silver Dodge ball at a Target Player, announcing "Shock Boulder" with the throw.
Each Shock Boulder does 6 Points of damage.
Character can create 1 Shock Boulder per cast.
Empower the Minds of the Dead
Focus Time- 6S, Psi-Slots -3
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must have a dead Target Player to Animate.
Character must have a NPC/Monster information card to give to each of the dead Target Player. These can be printed off from the Monster Manual in this book, or they can be found at GateHouse. The NPC/Monster Info Card must be for a Level 1 UnDead Shuffler.
Character must make sure Dead Target Player fully understands their new role.
Character must announce " Rise and Obey your Master! 5M ".
Effect
The dead Target Player is now a mindless Zombie under the complete direction of the casting Character and as so may only perform the most simple of tasks for its Master. Example - Go there, Stay, Guard this, Get them, etc.
Zombies may not speak, and remember nothing of their former lives or friendships, and can relate no information about their life (when they were alive of course) in any way. Nor can Zombies use any Skill, Spell, Psionic, Circle, Rune or Prayer that the Target Player knew in life. Zombies have their own abilities, which means they use them naturally and at will anytime they want, and that is all.
Effects last 10 minutes.
Level 2
Character can now raise a Level 2 UnDead Walker, should they wish, and NPC/Monster card must be given.
Character must make sure Dead Target Player fully understands their new role.
Character must announce "Rise and Obey your Master! 10M".
Effects last for 20 minutes.
Level 3
Character can now raise a Level 3 UnDead Trotter, should they wish, and NPC/Monster card must be given.
Character must make sure Dead Target Player fully understands their new role.
Character must announce "Rise and Obey your Master! 15M".
Effects last for 30 minutes.
Fear
Focus Time- 6S, Psi-Slots -3
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must touch Target Player and announce "Fear 30S".
Effect
Target Player must flee directly away from the Character for the full length of the duration.
Effects last 30 seconds.
Level 2
Character can now touch two Target Players at once per single Casting.
Character must announce "Fear 30S".
Effects last 30 seconds.
Level 3
Character can throw rice to hit the body of multiple Target Players at once if possible and announce
"Fear 30S".
Any Target Player hit is affected.
Effects last for 30 seconds.
Harmony of the Minds
Focus Time- 4S, Psi-Slots -2
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
Character must be touched by up to 1 willing Target Players and those players must stay in contact with the Character using Harmony of the Minds. A repetitive Chant from all participants must begin and last for 10 seconds. Each Psi-Slot returned will extend this Chant for another 10 seconds. Chant may not be used to drain unwilling Target Players, just those who knowingly volunteer, and even then the casting Character can take only sacrificed Spell Slots or Mana.
Psi-Slots are returned at a rate of 1 to 1 for each Target Player sacrificed Psi or Spell Slot.
15 sacrificed Mana (Racial or from a Mana Pool) returns 2 Psi Slots back into your Psi-Cycle (or 8 Mana for 1 Psi-Slot).
Chant can also be used to channel Psi-Slots into a Target Player following the voluntary rules as stated above. In this case the Character must be touching the Target Player that is to receive the sacrificed Slots or Mana.
The amount offered/given can not exceed the recipients maximum Psi-Cycle.
Character and Players must stay in contact and chant aloud a mantra or repetitive phrase in a rhythmic pattern for 10 seconds before effects begin. This Chant is extended by 10S, by everyone, for every Slot returned.
Effect
2 Psi-Slots are returned into the Characters Psi Cycle, for every 2 Psi-Slots, 1 Spell Slot or 15 Mana sacrificed.

2 Psi-Slots are returned into the Target Players Psi-Cycle for every 2 Psi-Slots, 1 Spell Slot or 15 Mana sacrificed.
Level 2
Character can now be touched by up to 2 Target players and can give or receive Targets Players sacrificed Psi-Slots, Spell Slots, or Mana.
Level 3
Character can now be touched by up to 3 Target players and can give or receive Targets Players sacrificed Psi-Slots, Spell Slots, or Mana.
Hydrokinesis
Focus Time- 6S, Psi-Slots -3
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must have tennis balls wrapped in Silver.
Effect
Character may now throw the ball at a Target Player, announcing "Shock Ball".
Shock ball does 3 Points of damage.
Character can create 1 Shock Ball per Prayer.
Level 2
Choose the Level 1 effects or
Character can now hold the Shock Ball for 10 seconds only, in their hand to hit a Target Player as if their Fist was made of Lightning. Character must announce “Freeze 1M”, and the Target Player is now entombed by thick Ice.
Living Ice statues can not be moved or damaged in any way, but the Ice has a Body of 3 HP and can be broken freeing the Target Player inside.
Effects last for 3 minutes or until destroyed.
Hypnotic Suggestion
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must make eye contact with Target Player.
Character must make a fist with the index and middle finger upright and pass it between the targets victims eyes and their own.
Character must announce "Persuade 5M".
Effect
Target Player must perform whatever task or action the Character asks, within reason. Persuade has a very robust anti-suicide clause. Persuading Character may not tell Target Player to kill themselves, their family, their clan or their loved ones. Nor can Persuade convince a Target Player to cause direct harm to any of those listed above. Anything else goes. Consider Persuade to be used as a con job, the Character being the Con Artist, the Target Player the victim. There is only so much anyone can talk anybody else into.
Persuade can be used on a NPC/Monster only, not on a Player Character.
Effects last for 5 minutes, if the Persuaded Player can not accomplish their goal in this time the Psionic fades and the Player is left dazed and slightly disorientated but with no lingering effects.
Level 2
Persuade can be used against 2 NPC/Monsters at once and Character must use both hands at once for the finger wave, and must break eye contact with both Target Players.
Character must announce "Persuade 5M".
Effects last for 5 minutes.
Level 3
Persuade can be used against 3 NPC/Monsters at once and Character must use both hands at once for the finger wave, and must break eye contact with all Target Players.
Character must announce "Persuade 5M".
Effects last for 5 minutes.
Implant Nightmare
( A variation of Fear )
Focus Time- 4S, Psi-Slots -2
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must touch Target Player and announce "Fear 30S".
Effect
Target Player must flee from Character, and may not stop fleeing for duration of the spell.
Effects last 30 seconds.
Level 2
Character can now touch two Target Players at once per single Casting.
Effects last 30 seconds.
Level 3
Character can throw rice to hit the body of multiple Target Players at once if possible and announce "Fear 30S".
Any Target Player hit is affected.
Effects last 30 seconds.
Joy
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must throw rice at a Target Player and hit them in the Body.
Character must announce "Joy 10S".
Effect
Target Player is suddenly blissfully content, remembering happy moments in the past, and ecstatically joyful with the present moment. Because of this they may perform no Skill, Prayer or Magic for the duration, they may still defend themselves.
Effects last 10 seconds.
Level 2
Character must announce "Joy 15S".
Effects last 15 seconds.
Level 3
Character must announce "Joy 20S".
Effects last 20 seconds.
Master Fear
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Linger

Character must announce "Master Fear 1M".
Effect
Character is immune to all Skill, Magic and Prayer versions of Fear.
Effects last for 1 minute.
Level 2
Effects last for 2 minutes.

Mental Focus

Effect
Character is unaffected and the Confusion, Beguile and Calm is negated.
Character can negate any variation of "Confusion", "Beguile" or "Calm".
Effects last for 1 minute.
Iron Mind does not negate any ability announced with "Fear".
Level 2
Character may now announce "Iron Mind 2M"
As well Character can now also negate any effect announced as "Cute" or "Joy".
Effects last for 2 minutes.
Level 3
Character may now announce "Iron Mind 3M"
As well Character can now also negate any effect announced as "Sorrow" or "Words of Truth".
Effects last for 3 minutes.
Mind Bond
Focus Time- 4S, Psi-Slots -2
Psionic Type - Instant with Giving, Linger with Taking
Action
Character must touch the forehead of a willing Target or a Dead Player.
Character must announce "Instant Knowledge 1M".
Effect
Character can transfer or take a Target Players known Skill into themselves.
The Character must cast, announce "Instant Knowledge 3M", and then announce "I give/take your (Insert Skill name here) 1M".
The Skill receiving Character now can perform the other Players Skill at the other Players Skill Level, even though they personally do not possess the Skill themselves.
The giving Player may NOT perform that Skill for the entire duration of the time call.
If Character asks for a Skill the Target Player does not possess, the Spell is miscast, the uses still comes out of their Spell Cycle, and no Skill is acquired.
Instant Knowledge can only steal Skills from a Target Player, and never Magic, Prayers, nor Spell or Prayer Cycles. This is effective only for Skills.
Effects last for 1 minutes.

Instant Knowledge can also be used to talk with a Petrified Target Player, but only for 30 seconds.
Character must announce "Instant Knowledge 30S".
Level 2
Character must announce "Instant Knowledge 2M", and the effects last for 6 minutes.
Character must also announce "I give/take your (Insert Skill name here) 2M".
Effects last for 2 minutes.

Instant Knowledge can also be used to talk with a Petrified Target Player, but only for 1 minute.
Character must announce "Instant Knowledge 1M".
Level 3
Character can now touch 2 Target Players on the foreheads and Transfer one Skill to the other for the 3 minute duration. When this happens, the Character acting as the conduit of power, also receives the skill in question, but only for 1 minute.
The Target that was the source of the Skill transferred will retain all knowledge of the Skill, and now all three will be able to use the Skill.
Character must announce "Instant Knowledge 3M".
Character must also announce "I give/take your (Insert Skill name here) 3M".
Effects last for 3 minutes.

Instant Knowledge can also be used to talk with a Petrified Target Player, but only for 90 seconds.
Character must announce "Instant Knowledge 90S".
Mind Leech
Focus Time- 6S, Psi-Slots -3
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must be facing towards a Target Player within 10 feet and have eye contact with them for the entire duration of the focus time.
Mind Leech is effective against Skills only, and has no effect if a Spell, Psionic, Prayer etc, is called in the announcement, instead of a Skill.
Character must point at the Target Player with one hand and announce "Forget ____ ( Skill ) 1M".
Effect
If the Target Player HAS the capability mentioned then not only do they temporarily forget how to perform the capability, but also they forget they ever had it to begin with. For Example - Malik Mindbleeder is confronted with a drunken Pirate with a readied Flintlock. After focusing, he points at the Pirate and Malik announces "Forget Flintlock 1M". The Pirate then looks down to the unrecognisable chunk of wood and metal in her hand and wonders what it is, and what the heck was she doing with it in the first place. Until the end of the duration this capability of the Target Player can not be used at all.
If the Target Player does NOT HAVE the Skill mentioned, nothing happens to the Target Player and the casting Character still loses the Slot spent in the casting.
Effects last for 1 minute.
Level 2
Character must announce "Forget ____ ( Skill )____ 2M".

Mind Sift

Character must make physical contact with the head of Target Player, and remain in contact with them for the duration of the process.
Character must spend the Focus Time and then enter into a Battle of Wills with the Target Player.

The two will have a match of "Stones and Bones", a modified Rock, Paper Scissors, and the Mind Sifting Character must win 3 out of 5.
Stones and Bones works like this~ both the Psionicist and the Target Player will hold one hand flat out and in front of them with the palm up towards the sky, and with the other hand they will make a fist and hold it above the first hand. They will then bounce the fist off of the lower open hand three times, then upon the landing of the fourth hand bounce they will stop the fist in place and show if they choose a "Stone" (a closed fist) or a "Bone" (a closed fist with the index finger extended in a pointing manner. During the three hand bounces and BEFORE the fourth bounce and reveal, the Psionicist will call out for both to hear either "Odds" or "Evens". A call of "Odds", or being at odds with each other, means that after the fourth bounce when the hand stops and reveals their choice, one of the two will be showing a Stone, and the other will be showing a Bone. A call of "Evens", or being evenly matched with each other, means that after that fourth bounce, both will be showing the same signal, either both Stones, or both Bones. If the Psionicist can successfully predict the outcome of the match as they are bouncing the hands and before the reveal, the the Psionicist has won that round, and must now only win two more to finish the 3 out of 5 competition. If the Psionicist is wrong (Psionicist declares "Evens" but the result was at Odds), then the Target Player wins that round, and needs only two more wins to deny the efforts of the Psionicst.
Effect
If the Psionicist loses the Battle of Wills, there are no Effects.
If the Psionicist wins the Battle of wills, they may now ask questions spoken only to the Target Player, and that Target Player must answer as truthfully as their Character can, speaking only to the Psionicist. This can be a whispered conversation. Remember, the Psionicist is pulling the thoughts straight out of the Target Players brain, and no deception or deceit will stop or change the outcome. Target Player may not lie.
Target Players may need to be held or secured for this process, for Mind Sift has no "Holding" or "Staying" power.
Mind Sifting is automatically cancelled as soon as the Psionicist finishes the questions allowed, or if physical contact with the Target Player is broken.
Character may ask 3 questions and all must be within 30 seconds.
Level 2

Character may ask 6 questions and all must be within 60 seconds.

Character may ask 9 questions and all must be within 90 seconds.
Mind Trap Master Illusion

Character must be facing towards a Target Player within 5 feet of Target Player, have eye contact and be talking with them for the entire 10 second duration of the focus time.
Character must have a standard sized recipe card with a visual scene described on it.
Character must touch Target Player with the card and announce "Mind Trap Master Illusion 5M".
Effect
Target Player must then read the scene on the card and they will behave accordingly to the scene described as if it is their real world reality. For example - If a card reads "You are at the bottom of an ocean" Target Player will believe that they are drowning for 5 minutes. If the card reads "Everything you touch bursts into flames" Target player will react accordingly, trying to pat out the flames they now see everywhere. Scene described must be brief and of no more than 10 words.
Effects last for 5 minutes.

If a good hit is made, the Target Player receives 3 HP of damage wherever they were struck, and the Fire ball is now no more.
Level 3
Choose the Level 1 or 2 effects or
Character must touch a Target Player on the Body, and announce "Set on Fire".
Target Player is on fire and receives 1 Hit Point of Damage to the Body per every 3 seconds and must behave accordingly.
Character may wish to announce "Burn!" every 3 seconds to signal the Hit Point loss.
To extinguish the flames a second Player must beat out the flames with hands, a cloak, a shield etc. for 3 seconds. Extinguishing the flames in this manner stops all Hit Point damage right from the moment the Target Player receives the help. If the assisting Player does not attend to the burning Target Player for the full 3 seconds damage continues as stated above.
Replenish the Will

Psionic Type - Linger

Character must sit in a meditative trance and Focus (both hands to temples) for 30 seconds.
Character must then produce a bladed weapon and cause themselves at least 1 Hit Point of damage.
Effect
Characters Psi-Slots are restored at a rate of 1 per every 2 Hit Points sacrificed from the Arms or Legs.
Character may reduce a limb to 0 Hit Points with this ritual should they wish.
Character must repeat the 30 second trance in between each use of Replenish the Will.
Level 2
Characters Psi-Slots are restored at a rate of 1 per every 1 Hit Point sacrificed from the Arms or Legs.
Character may reduce a limb to 0 Hit Points with this ritual should they wish.

The Psionicist finishes his focus time first, and casts "Resist Cold 1M".
The Elementals finish next, and fire off 3 Ice Balls in rapid succession. The Psionicist gets hit with all of them, taking 3 Hit Points on an Arm from the first, he negates the second Ice Ball that hit his Body with announcing "Resist Cold", and takes the third Ice Ball on the Leg for another 3 Hit Points of Damage.
The Warlock finishes her Prayer and holds aloft a "Ice Boulder!". Her aim is true, and she is delighted!
""Resist Cold" repeats the Psionicist, negating the 6 Hit Point causing Boulder to his chest.

The lingering effect of Resist Cold allows the Target Player to cut the time call in half, to 90S. Since the 90S is lesser than the Target Players remaining Resist Cold duration of 2M, this overwhelms the Freeze magic, and now the new duration for the Target Player being Frozen is 90S, and not the 3M announced.
Immediately upon being released early from a lingering Cold based attack, the released Character must announce "Resist Cold".

Target Players will NOT know the Psionicist has used this magic, and can not react to it in any way. If an ambush was set, then the Target Players must carry on as they were intending to do in the first place.
Level 2
Character must announce "Sixth Sense - Everyone in 20 feet Answer me!".

Sorrow

Target Player is instantly overwhelmed with grief and sorrow and can perform no Ability, Skill, Spell, Psionic, Circle or Prayer for the duration of the Spell.

If the Target Player has no Gold Coins in their pouches, their sorrow is so powerful they must run away from the casting Character for the duration of the Spell.

Target Player receives 3 HP of damage wherever they were hit, and the Rock ball is no more.
Level 3
Choose the Level 1 or 2 effect or
Character must have a rope that is no less than 1 foot and no more than 2 feet in length.
Character can then announce "T.K. Fly 5M".
As long as the Character keeps spinning the rope, or until the duration elapses what ever comes first, the Character is considered to be Flying. Flying Characters are immune to all hand held weapons, for they fly too high, and may only be struck through some Magic, Thrown Weapons and Ranged Weapons.
Character may move their feet and travel anywhere they choose with this Prayer.
Effects last for 5 minutes.
Telekinetic Fist
Focus Time- 2S, Psi-Slots -1
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
Character must punch a Target Player once in a designated target area.
Character must announce "T.K. Punch" with every attempt.
Effect
Target Player receives 1 Hit Point of damage to that targeted area.
Level 2
Character may now deliver two punches, one from their right fist and one from their left, per use of this ability.
The first punch must be thrown immediately after the casting, the second punch must be delivered 3 seconds after that. If the blow is delivered too early, the punch may not be accepted for damage. If it is too late, the Focus has been lost and the power has ebbed away from the fist. Also the Character must announce both punches individually as well. Example - Focus time spent then announce "T.K. Punch" and punch with one hand, and then 3 seconds later announce "T.K. Punch" and punch with the other.
Level 3
Character may now deliver 2 punches with each hand, following all rules above, for a total of 4 punches over 12 seconds.
Telekinetic Force Field

Character must be stationary and may not move while in the T.K. Force Field.
Character must raise left arm straight overhead with a closed fist.
Character must announce "T.K. Sanctuary 1M".
Effect
Character is now wrapped in an impenetrable bubble of Telekinetic energy. Attacks, no matter what the nature of its origin Magic, Prayer, Skill, Sword etc., can not pass through the bubble, and the Character is immune from Physical harm, ie inside the bubble the Character is immune from any Hit Point damage.
Effects last for 1 minute.
Level 2
Character must announce "T.K. Sanctuary 3M".
Effects last for 3 minutes.
Level 3
Character must announce "T.K. Sanctuary 5M".
Effects last for 5 minutes.
~~NOTE~~
The T.K. Force Field bubble may be ' popped '. A 2 handed mass weapon ( great axe, maul, horseman's hammer, heavy pole arm, etc. ) that must be an enchanted or blessed weapon, may be used to strike the ground a foot or so away from the Character in the T.K. Force Field, on all four sides of the Character. This shatters and destroys the ground enough that proper contact with it can not be made and the Psionic Ability is ruined. Example - Benny Brainbleeder sees Dug the Dwarf, coming his way and looking angry. The Psionicist places hands to temples then holds up his fist and announces " T.K. Force Field 1M ". Dug continues stalking straight for Brainbleeder as he readies his Pole Axe that he has already Honed the blade of ( using the Dwarfs natural ability to Hone Weapons so that they act as enchanted ) and hits the ground in front of Benny. Dug then hits the ground to the left of the Mind Bender. The Dwarf pounds the ground behind Benny, and then to Benny's right and Benny, very nervous now, must drop the raised fist and the Spell is cancelled. Good luck Mind Bender.

Telekinetic Hold

Action
Character must have eye contact and be within 10 feet of Target Player.
Character must raise one hand to their temple to signal their Focus, and they must keep that hand there for entire duration of the hold.
Character must also extend the other hand in a fist directly aimed at the Target to be held.
Character must announce "T.K. Hold 20S".
Effect
Target Player has now been enveloped completely in the Psionicists Telekinetic Field. The TK force is constricting and Targets must lower their arms to their sides and freeze in place. Target player can only now wait for help to come or for the magic to end.
Being held telekinetically completely fuses the Target Player to the ground and they cannot be lifted, carried or transported anywhere, they must stay where they are. Also, the field surrounds them fully and completely, so as long as they are held they are also immune to damage from any source.
The T.K. Bubble may be popped, it has a Body of 3 per Level of Caster. Character must make an announcement or a large reaction when the bubble has been popped.
Effects last for 20 seconds.
Level 2
Character must announce "TK Hold 40S".
Effects last for 40 seconds.
Level 3
Character must announce "TK Hold 1M".
Effects last for 1 minute.
At the end of the duration (or before if the Psionicist wishes) they can end TK Hold with "T.K. Push". This costs 1 additional Psi-Slot and Target Player must move back 5 feet and fall down.
Telekinetic Lift
Focus Time- 4S, Psi-Slots -2
Psionic Type - Linger
Action
Character, after the Focus time, must have eye contact with Target Player.
Character must point at Target Player with one hand and leave the other hand on their temple.
Character can then announce "T.K. Lift 20S".
Effect
Character must keep pointing at the Target Player. If this extended arm that is pointing at the Target Player is lowered before the end of the duration of Telekinetic Lift, then the Target Player is lowered as well. Target Player is instantly released from the effects of Telekinetic Lift when they touch the ground regardless of any remaining Duration.
Target Player is now Levitating against their will and must signal that they are Levitating. If the Target Player has a rope of any length they must swing it in circles above their head for the duration of the Psionic ability. If the Target Player does not have a rope they must circle something in the air with one hand, for example, a weapon, their hand or arm to the elbow, a pouch, etc.
The Target Player must keep spinning the item until the Psionic Ability elapses or until the Psionicist lowers their pointing hand.
The Target Player is now considered to be Levitating. Levitating Characters are immune to all hand held weapons, for they fly too high, and may only be struck through Magic, Thrown Weapons, Ranged Weapons, Flintlocks, Muskets and Siege Weapons from a minimum of 20 feet away.
Target Player may NOT move or travel (unless it is a windy day, of course, then the Target may wish to bob along much like a balloon would) with this Psionic Ability. Only vertical lift is possible.
Effects last for 20 seconds or end with the lowering of the hand.
Level 2
Character can then announce "T.K. Lift 40S".
Effects last for 40 seconds or end with the lowering of the hand.
Level 3
Character can then announce "T.K. Lift 1M".
Effects last for 1 minute or end with the lowering of the hand.
Telekinetic Push

Psionic Type - Instant

Character must make eye contact with Target Player.
Target Player must be within 10 feet.
Character must quickly extend one arm out towards the Target Player in a pushing motion with the hand open and up as if signaling to stop.
Character must yell "Push".
Effect
Target Player has been slammed by a wall of telekinetic force and they must be 'blown back' 5 feet and they must fall down.
Level 2
Character can now Push 2 Target Players at once per single Casting. But, both hands must be on their temples and then both pushes, and arm motion involved, can happen from there.
Level 3
Character can throw rice to hit the body of multiple Target Players at once if possible and announce "Push". Any Target Player hit is affected.
Telepathy
Focus Time- 4S, Psi-Slots -2
Psionic Type - Instant
Action
Character must locate a Service Worker who is not performing a duty for the Game Master, but more 'Civic' duties instead, and if they should agree, may give the service worker a verbal message, of no more than 10 words, to carry to another Player some where else. Service Workers who are asked to perform in this way are now considered to be performing a duty for the Game Master and may perform no other duty until completion or Spell duration ends.
Character must announce "Telepathy 10M".
Effect
Service Worker must immediately try to locate the receiver of the Characters message and must verbally deliver the message as accurately as possible.
Effects lasts 10 minutes, or until the moment the last word of the message is delivered, this Spell does not allow a message back, just one sent. The Service Worker is then released from the Game Master Duties and may continue on with their interrupted Civic Duties.
Level 2
Character must announce "Telepathy 20M".
Character can now give a message of 20 words or less.
Effects lasts 20 minutes, or until the moment the last word of the message is delivered.
Level 3
